Our Mission:

for the purpose of helping people grow in spirit, mind and body.
We offer a Recreational & Advanced League as well as Basketball Skills Clinics
that concentrate on fundamental skills of the game - dribbling, passing,
shooting, etc. 1,200 players played basketball in the 2012-13 season.
Practices:

Recreation & Legacy League

The learning of skills, the reinforcement
of positive values and having fun while
playing sports in a team environment.

The Head Coach MUST submit a roster
requesting your child to be on his/her team.

Purpose:
To meet the community needs by providing a
league where teams are allowed to play
together, stay together and grow in a team
environment in a more competitive setting.
YMCA Recreation Team Formation:
Individuals will be placed on teams by the
YMCA Sports Department. Volunteer
coaches will lead the teams. A maximum
of 8 players will be on each roster.
YMCA Advanced Team Formation:
Head Coaches will submit a roster of players
that they would like placed on their teams.
Players MUST designate their coach and then
the coach MUST invite the player to be placed
on his/her team. If a child has not been
requested by a coach, he/she may be placed
in the Recreational Division. A maximum of 10
players and a minimum of 8 players on a roster.

encouraged but not required.

YMCA uniforms will be provided to each
player consisting of shorts and jersey. All
players must wear their YMCA jersey on
